News - DECEMBER 2008

December is here and you know what that means THE DOE VALLEY GOLF COURSE CHRISTMAS SALE the sale will start on December 1st and last until December 20th. You will not believe the prices on all merchandise WE WON'T BE UNDER SOLD!!!!!

The Golf Shop hours for December will be 9am-5pm weather permitting. As always if the golf course is closed then the golf shop will be closed as well.

The Golf Shop will be closed for The Holidays starting on December 20th and will re-open January 5th at 10:00 am

Dues statements will go out at the end of December. Your dues will be payable by January 31st, 2009.

The golf course will be closed the month of January. We have studied the last 2 January's and have found that it is costing us money by being open. The money that we will save will be spent on the golf course. I understand that some of you will not like this decision but with the economic time that we are in I hope that you understand, we are like any other business and we have to save where we can. The Golf Shop will remain open Monday thru Friday 10am - 3:00pm weather permitting.

As most of you know by now we have ordered new golf carts for next year. I would personally like to thanks Shannon for this purchase. I personally feel with these new golf carts we will see an increase in rounds and revenue. Her commitment to this purchase is just another reason why I feel this is a great golf facility to work and play.

I would like to say a big THANKS to staff Chris, June and their staffs for another great job this year.
